Notes from my class back in "Buddha and Christ"

Biblical Studies;
Tet - Tov = Good.
Tihar = purity, brilliance
         - Moses/Jesus (at one time each) were shinning in light.
Yud - Marching fourth. Rising up. Moving out (e.g. leaving from Egypt...)

         Yom = a day. = One day that can change the world....
                  = Battles of Yom Kipur (Israel vs Egypt)

The kingdom of God; people thought this is what Hebrew theology was about.
God will govern the earth as well as the heaven...

Only thing you can do is to wait. and to patiently prepare for the moment.

Some are ready. Some are not. "Be alway ready, and be always prepared".

The reality is that day by day we're forwarding towards the death.
-People thought Jesus was hope.
-God had sent Jesus down to make them realize...

Kinship and death.
-Entering to Jerusalem.
-The necessity of human king faded away,,,as Jewish group needed one ruler, that is, God.

Buddha...
Shakamuni Buddha, Bodhisattva; inter-relation to temptation, kinship.
Before preaching about enlightenment, temptation appeared, as Mara, the god well known in India,
to the Buddha who was reaching to the stage of God.

Mara = representing the God of divinity, of death and desire, as to reborn, death. ..
Mara=causes, noises, decesase, and all kinds of annoying things.

Second temptation of Buddha is that sexual encounter, beautiful ladies...!

Lastly, the end of temptation by Mara was the vision of Armies. The vision of destruction.
During the temptation, the hands of Buddha were touching the ground, the earth, as he asks for testament.

The earth would remember unchangingly about things he declared.
