a stupid question. It went like this;
"Why did you decide to start the business in Japan, not in States?"
I sometimes recall this moment with embarrassment since I know,
given the situation and conversation we engaged in,
it was such an irrelevant thing to ask as well as certain rudeness that it conveyed.
And I also remember his face, turned to anger and said;
"Asia's got more opportunities! The only market in this world in our lifetime, is the asia.
Asia is hot, and Japan is the best place I can take advantage of doing the business in Asia."
He was right.
It is a simple yet only fact that the economy and demographics have a strong
causal relationship. For that, Asia is, in fact, one and only the growing market
that we can see in our lifetime (I'm in my 20s).
